Real Estate Property Tax Sales

The Saint Louis County Collector of Revenue’s office conducts its annual real estate property tax sale on the fourth Monday in August.

Property owners who are behind in their taxes are encouraged to make payments throughout the year to catch up and keep their property out of the sale. For more information, please call 314/615-7865.

Bidders: You are bidding on a tax lien certificates for properties with three or more years of delinquent taxes. This is different than an outright home purchase: you will not have immediate ownership or access to the property. Be sure to carefully research the property and applicable redemption period prior to bidding - all sales are final.

If you wish to view the auction books from past years, please click on any of the links below.

Offerings not sold in the 3rd sale during the Collector's annual tax sale, are held by the Collector of Revenue as "Post 3rd Sale Offerings". The general public is invited to bid on the properties listed at any time.

Please read the bidding instructions carefully before submitting a bid form, and note that the list of properties may be subject to change without notice. The next inventory update is expected to be posted in early December 2019.

Anyone with questions regarding the tax sale or the "Post Third Sale Offerings" is encouraged to contact the delinquent tax department at 314/615-7865.
