Become a Lifeguard!

We are now accepting applications for lifeguards at ALL of our pool and aquatic centers for the 2020 pool season! Spend your summer poolside with St. Louis County Parks. A current lifeguard certification is a bonus, but training will be provided for those who are not yet certified. Applicants must be 16 years or older.

Pay starts at $9.45/hour. All applicants that are conditionally offered seasonal employment (no benefit provided) with the Department of Parks and Recreation will be required to submit urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to employment. St. Louis County is an equal opportunity employer.

ST. VINCENT COMMUNITY CENTER AQUATIC CENTER

Open to all residents of the metro St. Louis area, this unique facility offers a water playground for "kids" of all ages, with an open water slide, a large water play structure for children, a "beach" for easy entry, and two 25-yard lap swimming lanes. In addition to general public use, the water park is also designed for aquatic exercise, swim lessons for all ages, and rentals. It includes a concession stand, patio eating area and an extensive deck for sociable gatherings.

THE PAVILION AT LEMAY AQUATIC CENTER

Our aquatic center features a deep water pool with slide, diving board, diving platform and climbing wall; lap lanes; a wet deck area; lazy river and a tot area with play structure. There is also a party room, locker rooms and a concession stand.

Monday – Friday: Noon – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Sunday: Noon – 6 p.m.

Open August 5 – September 2

NORTH COUNTY RECREATION COMPLEX AQUATIC CENTER

Our water park features include a tot pool, interactive play structure, a family otter slide, a basketball/volleyball area, three lap lanes, a 1-meter diving board, a lazy river, a drop slide and a water slide.

June 1 - Aug 11: Noon - 6 p.m.

The 5 mile loop at Cliff Cave is closed due to flooding. The 1 mile loop is still open.


West Tyson trails will be closed March 13 and 14 for a private event. Access to Lone Elk from the prairies will remain open.


The entrance to Lone Elk Park is under construction. Access has been rerouted.


The Sioux Passage boat ramp is closed indefinitely.
