General Information / History
The Kinloch park site was purchased in 1966 from the Kinloch Land Clearance for Regional Development Authority for $32,000. Development began that same year consisting of a spray and wading pool, ballfield, walkways, and a shelter. The park was dedicated in 1967. In 1972 tennis courts, a ballfield and lighting were added. The playground was renovated in 1995.

In 2017, the park basketball courts were renovated and turned into a piece of art, with murals painted by local artist William LaChance. The project was funded by Project Backboard, a non-profit organization dedicated to using these unique courts renovations as "a way to inspire multiple generations, and get people back together."
