On Wednesday, November 4, 2009, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued charges on Joshua Neuman, 38 years of age, of the 1900 block of Western Cape in Maryland Heights, for three counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, two counts of Felony Stealing and one count of Misdemeanor Stealing. Neuman is currently in custody on a $20,000 bond. A photo of Neuman is attached and can be viewed online. A St. Louis County Police Officer was on patrol at 1:00 AM the morning of the 4th when he saw an unoccupied vehicle, with its engine running, parked behind a closed Dairy Queen restaurant at 10545 Page Avenue. The officer knew that two recent burglaries had occurred at the restaurant on October 20th and 29th, 2009. As the officer approached the business a man wearing a mask and carrying money came running out and almost ran into the officer. The suspect, later identified as Joshua Neuman, was taken into custody. A further investigation into the suspect revealed that he had committed the previous two burglaries as well.
