Drivers will see more law enforcement officers on Interstate 70 on October 23, 2009. The St. Louis County Police Department announced today they are joining with law enforcement agencies across Missouri to crack down on unbuckled, speeding, and impaired drivers. The enforcement effort will span the Interstate 70 corridor cracking down on unsafe driving and reminding drivers to be safe out there. "The St. Louis County Police Department fully support the state's efforts to reduce accidents and save lives," stated Chief Tim Fitch, "We will be out in full force to remind drivers to slow down, buckle up, and never drive impaired."
