On Friday, June 19, 2009, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Marc Rath, 36 years of age, of the 3900 block of Finney with Robbery in the 2nd Degree. Rath is currently being held on $50,000 bond. A photo of Rath is attached and can be viewed online. On Friday, June 12, 2009, St. Louis County Police responded to a bank robbery at the Bank of America, 5240 Towne South Road in South St. Louis County. The suspect entered the bank, handed a note to a teller demanding money, and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Surveillance photos of the suspect were released to the media. After the media aired the photos, a viewer identified the suspect as Rath. Rath was then located and arrested by Maryland Heights Police Department for another bank robbery committed in their venue.
