Radio Equipment:
Ability to communicate with
every municipal police agency in and around St. Louis County, fire department
and protection districts/dispatch centers, highway departments, park departments,
hospitals, ambulances, the American Red Cross, state agencies, federal
agencies, and amateur radio operators.
The Mobile
Command Center is used for emergency events such as:
- Disasters
- major fires
- tactical situations
- hazardous materials incidents
- major events requiring a coordination center
- and major crime situations
The Mobile Command Center may
be requested for emergency service by contacting the Office of Emergency
Management at (314) 628-5400 (weekdays), or the St. Louis County Police, Bureau
of Communications at (314) 889-2341 at all other times. The Emergency Management
Duty Officer will be reached who will then contact you for details of your
request.
