MEMORANDUM:

TO:		St. Louis County Planning Commission

RE:		Approval of reports from the Executive Meeting of June 2, 2008 and consideration of 
petitions of the Public Hearing of May 12, 2008 for the June 16, 2008 Executive Session 
following the 7:00 P.M. Public Hearing in the County Council Chambers, 41 S. Central, 
Clayton, MO 63105.

In accord with adopted Commission procedures, the Department of Planning has drafted written reports 
for certain zoning petitions acted on by the Commission at their June 2, 2008 Executive Meeting. The 
following letter drafts, prepared in appropriate form for forwarding to County Council, are submitted for 
your consideration.  These letters include items finally acted upon under Agenda Section V A 
Consideration of Petitions of Public Hearing of May 12, 2008.  In addition, a request for withdrawal, a 
new correspondence item, the Spanish Lake - Bellefontaine Road Commercial Improvement Plan and the 
St. Louis County Strategic Plan Update are included for your review.

1.	P.C. 17-08 Gamma North Lindbergh, L.L.C., R-2 to C-2, south side of Van Cleve Avenue at Briar 
Crest Avenue. (The Planning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 9 - 0.)

2.	P.C. 18-08 PRABHU, L.L.C., C-3 to C-8, north side of Dunn Road, approximately 600 feet east of 
New Halls Ferry Road.  (The Planning Commission recommended denial by a vote of 9 - 0.)

3.	Correspondence dated June 2, 2008 from John P. King, re: P.C. 15-08 Slavik Investments, Inc., 
C.U.P. in M-1 and FPM-1, south side of Green Park Road, approximately 800 feet west of Reavis 
Barracks Drive, requesting withdrawal without prejudice. (The Planning Commission granted 
withdrawal without prejudice by a vote of 9 - 0.)

4.	Correspondence dated May 29, 2008 from Mark A. Doering, re: P.C. 88-94 Southtown 
Investments, C-8, north side of Lindbergh Boulevard, approximately 900 feet southeast of Union 
Road, requesting amendments to C-8 Ordinance 18,257.  

5.	Communication from the Planning Commission to the County Council, recommending that the 
Spanish Lake - Bellefontaine Road Commercial Improvement Plan be adopted as part of the St. 
Louis County Comprehensive Plan. 

6.	Communication from the Planning Commission to the County Council, recommending that the St. 
Louis County Strategic Plan Update be adopted.
