MEMORANDUM:

TO:		St. Louis County Planning Commission

RE:		Approval of reports from the Executive Meeting of March 10, 2008 and consideration of 
petitions of the Public Hearing of March 3, 2008 for the March 24, 2008 Executive 
Session following the 7:00 P.M. Public Hearing in the County Council Chambers, 41 S. 
Central, Clayton, MO 63105.

In accord with adopted Commission procedures, the Department of Planning has drafted written reports 
for certain zoning petitions acted on by the Commission at their March 10, 2008 Executive Meeting. The 
following letter drafts, prepared in appropriate form for forwarding to County Council, are submitted for 
your consideration.  These letters include items finally acted upon under Agenda Section V A 
Consideration of Petitions of Public Hearing of March 3, 2008.  In addition, an item previously held is 
included for your review.

1.	 P.C. 06-08 HWRT Management Company, Amended C-8, north side of Dunn Road approximately 
500 feet west of Bellefontaine Road. (The Planning Commission recommended approval by a 
vote of 9 – 0.)

2.	 P.C. 07 & 08-08 American Communities, C-8, R-2, and R-6A to R-6 with a P.E.U. in R-6, east side 
of Interstate Highway 55, south of Butler Hill Road at the terminus of MidAmerican Plaza.  (The 
Planning Commission recommended approval of R-6 District zoning and a P.E.U. in R-6 by a 
vote of 9 – 0.)

3.	Correspondence received February 8, 2008 from Terry Young, re: P.C. 05-68 Mobil Oil 
Corporation, C-8, northwest corner of Dunn Road and New Halls Ferry Road, requesting 
amendments to C-8 Ordinance 11,556.  (The Planning Commission held this item by a vote of 9 – 
0.)
