Current Project Status
Due to our funding projections, we will not be able to proceed with our original construction schedule.
This project is still important to us. We have acquired the necessary right-of-way and easement needed for construction. A new construction letting date has not been determined at this time.

Project Information
- Designed by in-house staff engineers. The design is substantially complete. Before a contract can be let, the plans will need to be finalized and utility agreements will need to be executed.
- Construction contract beyond 2013.
- Three Lane Section - Project will have one thru lane in each direction and one continuous two-way center left turn lane.
- Bridges - A new double box culvert will be built at Isleview Drive to replace a structurally deficient existing culvert.
- Project Limits - The project begins at the Parkway West Middle School and extends to Heathercroft Drive.
- Design Features - Roadway will have asphaltic concrete pavement, continuous concrete curb and gutters, enclosed drainage, a tree lawn, and five-toot wide sidewalks on both sides. The vertical alignment will be changed to improve sight distances. There are no significant changes in the horizontal alignment.
- Estimated Construction Cost - $6,700,000.
