Through a contract with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the HDSP Program seeks to accomplish the following:

To support and encourage policies and environmental changes in communities and worksites that raise awareness of heart disease, stroke and the control of hypertension, the development or enhancement of the American Heart Association's "Chain of Survival", and programs that foster healthy lifestyle choices.
