FREE* safety helmets are available to Saint Louis County residents (ages 1 through 17 years) at the following locations:

Please note:

  • Trained personnel must individually fit the helmet to the juvenile receiving it. (The child receiving the helmet must go to the fitting site with their parent or guardian. No helmets will be given out without being fitted to a child.)

  • Proof of residency (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.) is required.

*Helmets are purchased by the Saint Louis County Maternal and Child Health Grant. Please note that some municipalities also provide free or low cost helmets to their residents. Contact your local officials for additional information.
