The 21st Judicial Circuit, St. Louis County has established local court rule 29 to respond to requests to bring technology equipment into court for use in a trial. Each party who wishes to use private audio/visual, computer equipment, or equipment based on other technologies during a court trial or hearing should obtain approval from the judge or commissioner presiding over the proceeding. After the request is approved to use private equipment, the party needs to contact the court's Systems Manager, (314) 615-3914,
IT Department Room 613, no later than five (5) business days prior to the court date. The IT Department will coordinate any necessary
installation of equipment in the courtroom. Waiver of Liability Each party requesting the use of private equipment is required to submit a waiver of liability before any installation of technology equipment in the courtroom. Things to Consider:
