St. Louis County Auditor Welcome Message From the County Auditor Thank you for visiting the St. Louis County Auditor's web site. This site reflects the St. Louis County Auditor's effort to communicate with the citizens of St. Louis County and employees of St. Louis County Government regarding our function and activities. This will provide on-line users with information on our accomplishments, and a way for you to communicate with us. Corporate rule has been in the spotlight over the past with giant corporations such as Enron, Tyco and Worldcom having management's actions and activities being questioned and prosecuted. These events emphasize the need for an independent internal audit function that objectively reviews actions and activities of an organization. The County Auditor is responsible for the independent internal audit function for St. Louis County Government.
